From Lady Gaga and June Brown to Meryl Streep and 50 Cent, we love an unexpected celebrity friendship. And worlds really collided this week when Scott Disick and Love Island’s Eyal Booker headed for a boozy holiday in Las Vegas together.
‘Lil Boyz trip never hurt nobody,’ Scott wrote on Instagram as he posed at the TAO beach day club shoulder to shoulder with Eyal, Johnathan Cheban, and the rest of his entourage. And to add to this fever dream of a photo, it turns out Scott’s ex Kourtney Kardashian was actually getting married to Travis Barker down the road in a Vegas chapel. It’s a small world after all.
How are Scott Disick and Eyal Booker friends?
So, just how did this beautiful bromance start? Well, Scott was dating the 19-year-old actress Amelia Hamlin, who is the daughter of the actor Harry Hamlin and the Real Housewives star Lisa Rinna and later split from her in September. Meanwhile, Eyal was dating Amelia’s older sister Delilah Hamlin and reportedly split from her in January.
Since dating the Hamlin sisters, Eyal and Scott have clearly been spending more time together and are now both processing their breakups in Sin City. From the day they met, the friendship has been intense and Scott even leapt to Eyal’s defence in an Instagram spat with Megan Barton Hanson—we know, it’s bizarre.
Why did Scott Disick demand an apology from Megan Barton Hanson?
After Eyal and Megan split in the 2018 series he asked her for a second chance, to which she savagely replied: ‘You're not exactly Jim Carrey. I can't have fun with myself.’ And when Eyal and Scott were introduced, the Keeping Up With The Kardashian star discovered the Love Island couple’s on-screen drama which (for some reason) left him seriously fuming.
‘I was recently introduced to a beautiful man named Eyal,’ Scott wrote to Megan in a DM. ‘When I went to see what he’s done on TV I was astonished by your behaviour. To find you mugging him off and taking full advantage of his unbelievably beautiful sense of humour and vulnerability.
‘I’m extremely disturbed that anybody could be so disrespectful to somebody for no good reason,’ he continued. ‘I would like to know if you’d be willing to write him an apology. The fact that you told him he wasn’t funny – when in fact, you are not Jim Carrey, is absurd.’
And there you have it, the feud that started the friendship. Since then, Eyal and Scott have been sharing private dinners and are now partying in Vegas. Long live the bromance.
