For five years, the 'will they, won't they' storyline between Ruby Adler and Reza Amiri-Garroussi has been keeping us hooked on Made in Chelsea, but cut to July 2025 and it seems it’s all over.
Not only has the couple seemingly broken up (and for good this time), but now Ruby has taken to TikTok to announce that she won’t be returning to Made in Chelsea for season 30, which has just started filming in Thailand.
She started the video saying, ‘So much of my life has been on screen… I’m not actually going to be returning to MIC. Some of you might be thrilled. I feel like a lot of you will be thrilled to hear that.’
The 30-year-old continued, ‘I’m not coming back. I’ve done it for five years. I’ve had the most incredible five years of my life. We’ve got to travel the world, I’ve got to film with my best friends. There’s been highs, lows, make-ups, break-ups. Many make-ups, many break-ups.
‘I’ve hit 30, life’s going in a slightly different direction. I’m wanting a bit more peace at this moment in time. I’m not saying I’m never coming back, but I think it would be quite unlikely if I was to come back. My personal life feels like it’s thriving at the moment, if I do say so myself, and I want to focus my time, energy and peace on that.’

From the looks of her Instagram, Ruby went all out for her big 3-0 with a trip to Paris and a lavish party at Carousel London with all her BFFs including fellow MIC alum Melissa Tatum and Emily Blackwell.
Ruby explained her new attitude has come with reaching the milestone adding, ‘I feel like you get to an age where wants, priorities and needs just change and I think I’m at that point where I don’t really want to be subjected to all the opinions and I want to navigate life in my own way.’
Naturally, many have linked Ruby’s announcement to the rumours of her break-up with Reza and potential new romance with Australian estate agent, Gavin Rubinstein, but it’s a different bearded individual that has been peaking our interest in Ruby’s social media videos. The one that we believe she’s currently on holiday in Greece with…
Ruby’s video concluded, ‘I’m not going to be returning to MIC this season. Don’t miss me too much. I have a feeling you won’t, but if you do… Those who have genuinely supported me for the last five years on Made in Chelsea, I just want to say thank you so much. What a journey we’ve all had together! I’ve been given this amazing platform over the years that’s grown and so many of you have been here from my first ever scene. It’s been the craziest, most incredible journey of my life.’
Ruby’s followers quickly flooded the comments section of the video with support for the reality star. One wrote, ‘I’ve only ever watched it for you. I genuinely believe you deserve a private chapter, you’ve given so much. Working with a long term partner ex or current isn’t realistic. Take your time’ whilst another wrote, ‘I shall miss you, but feel you’ve made the right decision. You just don’t need the drama.’
