Well, that’s it…MAFSUK series six has come to an end. However, in true Married at First Sight fashion, they left us with one final dose of drama. The reunion last night had its fair share of snide remarks and eye rolls. Here are all the savage moments you might have missed.
Josh and Amy's breakup
So, news flash Josh and Amy have now split up. We don’t want to say we saw it coming … but we saw it coming. During the reunion Amy was very emotional about the split and she told the experts, ‘Something happened and that was it.’ She claimed that after leaving the show they didn’t speak for 10 days and in that time Josh ‘checked out of the relationship.’ Amy explained, ‘10 days isn't a lot, and I'm sorry if you can lose your feelings in 10 days, then were they even f**king real?’
Amy went on to admit she was still in love with Josh, continuing: ‘I still have a lot of feelings.’ She then started sobbing while Josh sat there emotionless. His lack of emotions towards her was quite cold and shocking. It was only until expert Mel Schilling probed him about how it made him feel seeing Amy so upset that he replied, ‘I have a heart obviously, but there comes a time when enough is enough and if you're not compatible with someone and you're not compatible.’ Amy got even more upset at his reaction, and he eventually gave her a hug. However, it was the most awkward hug I have ever seen - he tensed up as soon as she touched him.
Jordon’s attitude
Last night we saw the return of Jordon. Despite only being in the show for a grand total of 2 episodes, the rift he caused throughout the series has lasted till the end. Viewers were shocked when Jordon took it upon himself to talk back to expert Paul C Bronson. When Paul was questioning him about his affair with Megan Jordon snapped back saying, 'If you remember correctly, I never apologised to Megan.' Now, it wasn’t what he said but his tone of voice that caught people off guard. It was so quick – you might have missed it, but here at Grazia HQ, we don’t miss a thing.
The return of Nikita
We all knew from the moment Nikita strolled in yelling, ‘Guess whose f**kin back,’ we were in for a wild ride. When the experts played back the loved up moments between Alexis and Ant, Nikita was sniggering and called Alexis a ‘beg' under her breath. Alexis kept her cool throughout and didn’t rise to any negative comments. Eventually the girls did put their differences aside and Alexis jokingly said, ‘None of us want Ant anymore anyway,’ while he was sitting right there - savage.
Luke stood his ground
Luke and Morag have had a very turbulent relationship from the moment they said, ‘I do’. At the vow renewals it seemed like the couple were on the right path, but the reunion confirmed that their relationship is over. Much to viewers delight, Luke finally stood up for himself.
Morag claimed Luke ghosted her after the show ended. While speaking to the experts she revealed, ‘The moment we left the experiment Luke hasn't phone me once. Every day I don't hear from him I get angrier and angrier.’ Luke was asked by the experts for his opinion on what Morag said, he replied: ‘ I still felt like she wasn't giving, and I said look I'm not going to put any more pressure you at all so we agreed that I would give her space. I didn't ring her but every morning I made sure I messaged her and every night I did and in-between.
Luke then tuned to Morag and said: ‘We spoke on one day and you basically turned around and you categorically told me you have never seen us in a relationship, and it was like well what have I been fighting for? I asked her what the TV final commitment means to you, and she said it's a TV show.’ Morag was clearly taken back by this comment and yelled, ‘I never said that" and he responded, ‘Yes you did’ Luke concluded, ‘I wasn't the guy you wanted, and it was a game to you the whole time.’ Morag fired back, ‘Do you think I would of been through all of that? I was honest with you from start to finish.’ Luke responded stating that was a lie.
Awkward tension between Megan and Jordon
Basically, we all knew the reunion between Megan and Jordon would be extremely awkward, but nothing could prepare us for the mother of all awkward hugs. The two contestants came face-to-face for the first time since their affair. Megan was seen visibly cringing as she leant in for a hug with Jordon as he said, Nice to see you.' Speaking to the other girls afterwards, Megan stated, 'That was the most awkward one. He went, "Nice to see you," and I went:,"Yep!" I couldn't say,'You too!'
