Bringing the glamour and sophistication to Made in Chelsea for nearly three years now, Paris Smith has naturally become one of Grazia's favourite cast members. But whilst she tends to host all the parties and dinners that lead to drama, arguments and drink throwing, for the most part, Paris tends to stay out of the theatrics herself. In fact, when we spoke to her last year ahead of series 26 of Made in Chelsea, she called her appearance on the show relatively 'tame'.
'For me, although season 26 of Made In Chelsea might be tame, I think for everyone else it was the wildest,' she shared with Grazia. 'I mean, it's almost like shock factor after shock factor after shock factor. So it's eventful, exciting, shocking. And ballsy, actually, from a lot of the cast.'
Back in series 25, viewers were briefly introduced to Paris Smith's ex-boyfriend, Cillian Hilliard, but as series 26 came around, the model was single and focusing on her friendships with mates like Inga Valentiner and her best friend Robbie Mullett.
'Made In Chelsea has made me feel really positive about my friendships. And about my strength when it comes to relationships, being secure on my own,' she said, before jokily adding, 'as well as being able to enjoy imagine a whole season of Chelsea with barely any arguments.'
With arguments and cheating allegations happening with the rest of the cast, Paris admits she has been 'surprised' by some of the relationship drama to come. 'Whoever you think the strongest relationships are, it's very surprising to see what kind of turmoil they're going through,' she says. 'And I think that's a very honest reflection of what can be seen as very positive, strong relationships - getting an insight to the actual behind the scenes of some of the relationships that I know from my friends on the show. I was quite surprised - there were some really shocking revelations about people's behaviour.'
Paris Smith might not be involved in much drama nowadays, but never fear, because she's not planning on leaving Chelsea any time soon.
'I think I've enjoyed staying on the show so much because it's not really that hard. You know, these are the day to day things that I do in my life. And when it does come to the points where I talk about things emotionally such as race or relationships, the fan base around Chelsea has been so supportive and they have really uplifted me, and I think that's been a huge part of why I love being on the show so much,' she says.
'And obviously the extra champagne,' she jokes, 'But I really hope to be on the show for as long as I can, enjoying this experience to the fullest and making sure that I am grateful for it at the same time. You know, we're very lucky to be such in such privileged positions.'
