Yewande Biala Basically Predicted The Whole Of This Year’s Love Island

From Michael, to Danny, to Greg - she's guessed it all...

YEWANDE BIALA

Here at Grazia we have made it no secret that one of our favourite islanders from this year's series was Yewande Biala.

Apart from her being the best mate possible toAnnaand to Amber, she’s also been kind of psychic - predicting things that none of us knew would hold true.

Michael dumping Amber for Joanna

If you cast your mind right back to the first episode, Yewande knew what was in store for Michael Griffiths.

When he came into the villa - even though she was eventually coupled with the Liverpudlian - Yewande didn’t originally step forward for him, as she got the vibe that he would cause havoc in the villa.

‘He looks like such a heartbreaker,’ the scientist told Caroline, when she asked why she didn’t step forward. ‘I think I'd just get my heart broken if I stepped forward.’

And, weeks later, what happened? When Casa Amor rolled around, he quickly ditched Amber for Joanna.

Danny and Arabella breaking up

After her coupling with Michael led to nowhere, Yewande started to like later addition, model Danny Williams.

Yewande was famously coupled-up with Danny before he decided to go with Arabella Chi instead, causing her to be dumped from the island.

But, in her first interview after leaving the villa with Grazia, Yewande just knew that the pair wouldn’t last.

She told us, ‘Looking at it from the inside, I don’t see them ever working on the outside because of the age gap [Arabella is 28, Danny is 21].

‘Knowing Danny and knowing her a little bit, they’re in different stages of their lives. It might work in there but it won’t work on the outside.’

Lo and behold, the pair split shortly after their time on the show. (Danny, in the outside world, is now paired with fellow model Jourdan Riane.)

Amber choosing Greg instead of Michael

And last, but by no means last, Yewande knew that Amber fancied Greg, even after he had only been in the villa for a day.

‘Instead, I think you should give Greg a chance,’ she wrote in an open letter for Grazia earlier this month.

‘I know that he’s the only one in the villa who’s your type, and I know from what I’ve seen that you definitely do fancy him a little bit.

‘It would be nice to give him a shot, as Michael has had so many opportunities - and he’s turned every single one of them down.’

The rest, as they say, is history; Amber and Greg won the series. We doubt it would have happened if it wasn't for Yewande.
