If there’s one person was less than delighted at last night’s Love Island result, then it’s Michael Griffiths.
The snubbed islander was almost speechless when it was revealed that Greg O’Shea and his ex Amber Gill had bagged the £50k prize.
Filming his reaction on his Instagram story, the firefighter looked shocked as he put his hand over his mouth and exclaimed, ‘Oh shit, oh shit, I did not expect that.’
He then, for some reason, decided to repeat the word, ‘ratings’ - obviously showing that he is not bitter at all about his ex winning the prize. (Eye roll.)
However, one person who was overjoyed at the result though was Amber’s BFF Yewande Biala.
Luckily for us, fellow islander Lavena Back caught her delighted reaction on her Instagram stories, and Yewande just couldn’t stop screaming. (Just like most of us, tbh.)
‘Get you a friend like @yewande_biala and she will be the best friend you’ve ever had and your biggest fan all in one #LoveIsland,’ one fan wrote, sharing the exchange on Twitter.
In an open letter she wrote to Amber for Grazia earlier this month, Yewande said she would be voting for Amber if she made the final - and advised her to go for Greg instead.
She started the letter, ‘You have handled yourself amazingly. You have been so composed and mature about the whole Michael situation.
'You’re kind, caring and so funny. But, at the same time, you’re a bad fucking bitch (you tell that to me all the time!) you’re straight-up - and you’re not afraid of what anyone else thinks of you.'
