Netflix show Love is Blind is getting increasingly tense as the couples start to pair up and prepare for life outside the pods. Knowing the show inside out, fans are wondering whether Kwame is going to be the villain of this series. And as on any reality show, particularly a dating one, if you mess people around, viewers are going to have something to say about it.

The first five episodes of Love is Blind aired on 24 March on Netflix, with the second batch out on 31 March. Then episodes 9-11 drop on 7 April with the final episode set to air on 14 April. So will Kwame let us down like SK did? We all have to wait and see...

Who is Kwame on Love Is Blind?

Kwame Appiah stars on the current series of Love is Blind. He's a former professional soccer player from Seattle. Early on in the pods, Kwame got along with two of the women: Chelsea Griffin, a 31-year-old pediatric speech-language pathologist, and Micah Lussier, a 27-year-old marketing manager and so-called 'mean girl'.

When Kwame and Micah first interacted, it was clear they were attracted to one another. However, Micah called things off to pursue her relationship with Paul Peden and Kwame ended up proposing to an elated Chelsea in the pods. Once on their trip to Mexico, Kwame and Micah spent a lot of time chatting - and flirting - much to Chelsea's dismay (at one point she asked Kwame to fetch her some chips, only for Micah to demand he get her and Irina shots - which he ended up drinking with them, while Chelsea was left chronically chip-less).

Although only the first five episodes of Love Is Blind season 4 have aired, and things could change for Chelsea and Kwame, their relationship has already hit the rocks as Kwame's eye wanders. Internet sleuths also seem to have uncovered from his LinkedIn that he may have moved back to Seattle after a brief stint in Portland. At present, it is unclear if Kwame and Chelsea tied the knot at the altar - though we are soon to find out.

Who is SK?

SK, aka Sikiru Alagbada, was last year's villain after allegations emerged that he had been cheating on his partner Raven Ross. The pair decided not to get married during the Love is Blind season three finale, but reconnected after production wrapped. However, in November news that SK had cheated broke out on TikTok and, although he denied it at the time, he later admitted his wrongdoings.

Speaking to People magazine, SK said he's 'not proud of how [he] conducted [himself]' on the show. 'I'm finally ready to speak out because I feel like I owe it to Raven and to the whole world watching, and also to myself, to take full accountability for my actions. This is not an apology tour. It's really about me owning my actions and taking responsibility and also just taking the things I've learned from this experience, and I'll continue to learn and grow as a person.'

'I do want to deeply express my since apologies to Raven for the hurt and embarrassment that I caused her.'

What are fans saying about Kwame?

Astute Love is Blind fans are therefore drawing parallels between SK and Kwame. One Twitter user said, 'Kwame gives me SK vibes' and another said 'idk man, Kwame on love is blind reminds me of SK, wayyy to good to be true.' While another fan said: 'Kwame from love is blind might be the worst yet. Worst than SK or Barstool. How do they keep finding these people?!?'

Elsewhere on Twitter, viewers have been unimpressed with Micah and Irina's behaviour. One person said, 'Micah and Irina from love is blind season 4 are literally the worst people to ever be on the show' and someone else said 'in what capacity is listening to someone else's heartbreak funny? This whole scene is just disgusting and immature' alongside a picture of Irina.
