Christine Quinn has sparked speculation that she could be returning to Selling Sunset, after she reunited with her former co-stars at a party. The reality show star, 35, joined ex-castmates Mary Fitzgerald, Nicole Young and Jason Oppenheim at the White Fox Boutique’s Hot Summer Nights Party at LAVO Hollywood last Friday (7 June).
Christine also happily posed for photos with former co-star Davina Potratz, who was wearing the same dress. It could have led to an awkward moment but didn’t. ‘Best night everrrrr,’ Christine said. She later added, ‘Who’s ready for hot girl summer? I am!’
The cast reunion got fans excited. ‘Can you come back to Selling Sunset already?’ one supporter said, as another added, ‘If Christine is back, I am back.’
The mum of one’s night out came amidst her bitter divorce battle with tech businessman ex Christian Dumontet, also known as Christian Richard. She recently accused her ex-husband of five years of ‘wilfully’ violating a temporary restraining order by using an ‘agent’ to ‘effectively spy’ on her and their three-year-old son Christian at their former marital home. He was charged with assault and child abuse last month.
Meanwhile, Christine – who announced her divorce from Christian in April – revealed that she is looking for love again. ‘Now taking baby daddy applications,’ she said in a now-deleted caption.
One of the original stars of Selling Sunset, Christine left the Netflix series after five seasons in April 2022 after branding the show ‘fake’, amid a string of on-screen spats with Oppenheim Group colleagues Chrishell Stause, Emma Hernan, Mary Fitzgerald and Heather Rae Young.
She previously accused Chrishell – who dated Jason, the president of their brokerage – as acting ‘fake’, being a ‘kiss-a**’ and acquiring listings by sleeping with their boss. ‘Seriously, that b**** should f***ing own a Sunglass Hut, ‘cause she’s so f***ing shady,’ she fumed during one tirade about her nemesis. She also had a war of words with Emma, who accused her of bribing one of Emma’s clients to leave her – a claim Christine denied. Christine is proud of her acid tongue. ‘Only my t***s are fake. Like, I’m not fake,’ she said.
Having launched her own property company with Christian, she admitted that she had had enough of the office politics and wanted to start her own firm.
‘I really just feel it’s becoming difficult for me to just do my job because I’m constantly up against different bulls**t,’ she said in the penultimate episode of the fifth series. ‘I feel like I’ve just gotten to a point where I just don’t want to be in the office because it gets to a point where the drama is affecting my business and I don’t want that. I want to work for myself – be my own independent boss!’
She previously denied rumours that she would be returning to Selling Sunset. ‘Moved on to better things and so much happier,’ she said last November. But could things have changed? Here's hoping.
