‘Marilyse Needs To Dump Franky And Run’ MAFS Viewers React To Last Night’s Episode

It's the final vows on Married At First Sight UK. Bets are on which couples are actually going to stay together. Despite their differences, are Luke and Morag going to make it? Are Matt and Dan going to decide on where to live together? Has Josh done enough to reassure Amy their relationship deserves a chance? Are Tayah and Adam actually love's young dream? (In answer to the last question, probably - the pair revealed last night that they were expecting... A puppy.)

One couple everyone seems not so sure about are Marilyse and Franky{ =nofollow}. In Monday's episode, Franky revealed that he would have preferred to have been matched with a woman who didn't have children - despite the fact it was a) weeks into the experiment and b) Marilyse has always been open about how important her two children are to her.

Over the series, Franky has displayed a few red flags. The reality star - who has been based in Dubai - called Marilyse's hometown Beverley, in West Yorkshire, 'a boring little town'. He's told her not to speak when he is. He's constantly mentioning his own masculinity, either saying he has 'big balls' or dubbing himself an 'alpha male'. (Like yes, we get it - you are were in the military and are a manly man, whatever that means.)

Last night, he spoke about how happy he was with Marilyse, saying he wanted to move back to the UK primarily for her. And in fairness, he did say a big part of that was because she had children. He called himself the 'happiest man alive' and called her the 'love of his life'. Then again, he also said he wouldn't apologise for acting defensive or contained, as that was just him.

But fans aren't convinced by the declaration of love. And they want Marilyse to run - as fast as humanly possible. One fan tweeted, 'Sorry Franky, in the words of Rizzo from Grease, "That's one line I ain't buying" #MarriedAtFirstSight #MAFS.' Another added: 'Franky's doing all this for the cameras and because he’s in front of people. Sorry.' While a third chimed in: 'She needs to dump Franky and run seriously.' As the reunion episode is next Monday, we're curious to find out if Franky moves to the UK to live with Marilyse.
