The cyclical nature of the UK reality show scene ensures there's always a lot of crossovers. And the next series of MTV's Celebrity Ex On The Beach is going to be no different - as there's a trio of Love Islanders who are going to be anxiously waiting to see if their ex makes an appearance on the horizon.

Things might be a little awkward for Megan Barton-Hanson, who is going to be starring on the show alongside her TOWIE ex James Lock. The pair were dating for two months last year, before Megan revealed they had split after a romantic holiday together in New York. It's a mystery who else might appear on the show to surprise Megan, as she's previously dated TOWIE's Demi Sims, singer-songwriter Chelcee Grimes and, of course, Love Island ex Wes Nelson.

Also appearing on the series is going to be Love Island alumni Kaz Crossley - who starred on the show in 2018 - and Mike Boateng, who was on the inaugural winter Love Island in 2020.

Geordie Shore's Nathan Henry is also on the show, along with A'Whora from Drag Race UK. (U K, Hun?) Completing the line-up is Kori Sampson from Too Hot To Handle, and Married At First Sight Australia's Drew Bauer and KC Osborne, who failed to make it work after they walked down the aisle.

There's also set to be a new change to the format for 2022. 'This series includes a shocking new twist in the form of the Shack of Secrets, causing havoc among the villa by unveiling new exes and dishing out secret missions when our celebs least expect it,' MTV said in a statement.

Ooh, this is going to be very awkward reality TV gold. We don't know the official start date yet - but according to MTV, the show starts 'very soon'.
