Like many media hustlers attempting to keep their fingers on the zeitgeist, Carrie Bradshaw has swapped her column for podcasting in the Sex And The City reboot.
As she's adjusted to the new medium, Carrie has struggled to be as conversational and funny on air as she was in print, and has often been upstaged by her co-host Che Diaz — it's not as easy as it looks!
Thankfully, while Carrie has found it hard to find her feet behind the microphone, plenty of real-life podcasters have been discussing the Sex And The City reboot on their own shows, with maybe a bit more success.
With all the best behind the scenes intel and analysis to tide you over until the next episode, here are Grazia’s favourite And Just Like That podcasts.
And Just Like That… The Writers Room
The official podcast of the Sex And The City reboot, this is essentially where you can get all of your behind-the-scenes intel on each episode. Each week, writer and director Michael Patrick King and executive producers Elisa Zuritsky and Julie Rottenberg are joined by the show’s writers (Samantha Irby, Rachna Fruchbom and Keli Goff) and special guests to explain everything from why Miranda’s sex noises were meant to sound like someone in labour to why Natasha never wears heels anymore. Essential listening.

The Bradshaw Boys
Hosted by Emmy-winning director Coy Cavin, comedian Kevin James Doyle and Jon Sieber, The Bradshaw Boys started with three ‘relatively grown men’ discussing Sex And The City after watching it for the first time. Now hooked on the show, The Bradshaw Boys have moved onto the reboot and have even had Sarah Jessica Parker as a guest where she chatted about wine and all things SATC. Now, that’s real character development.

Every Outfit
This podcast initially began as an Instagram account @everyoutfitonsatc that lovingly dissected every look on Sex And The City. Creators Chelsea Fairless and Lauren Garroni have since started the Every Outfit podcast, which has so far discussed important And Just Like That style moments including Carrie’s ginormous sun hat (Anne Of Green Gables on steroids) and Miranda’s very fierce wig.

So I Got To Thinking
Can you be friends with an ex? Are all men freaks? Journalist Juno Dawson and author Dylan B Jones re-watch Sex And The City and attempt to answer Carrie’s, sometimes ridiculous, questions from a modern-day perspective. Now onto the And Just Like That reboot, the hosts have been joined by numerous insightful guests including Radio 1’s Clara Amfo and MP Stella Creasy.

Still Watching
Vanity Fair’s Julie Miller, Hillary Busis and Katey Rich breakdown the context of each new And Just Like That episode as it airs. This includes, but is not limited to, the troubling Chris Noth drama and whether there’s actually enough sex in this Sex And The City reboot.

The Guilty Feminist
Hosted by comedian Deborah Frances-White, The Guilty Feminist podcast encourages guests and listeners to confess their insecurities, hypocrisies and fears that undermine their feminist principles. The politics of Sex And The City have long been debated so Deborah and a selection of co-hosts have recorded a series of special episodes to analyse the reboot.
