Since the Trumps have been in power, things have been running very differently in comparison to their predecessors (understatement of the century). Amongst the madness, the Trump’s controversial decision to not all move as a family into the White House has caused much speculation.
Melania Trump has previously stated that she and her 10 year old son Barron would remain in New York so he could finish his schooling.
However the First Lady’s senior adviser, Stephanie Winston Wolkoff has confirmed that while Melania will continue to spend the majority of the time in New York, she will eventually move into the White House this summer.
“Mrs. Trump will be moving to D.C. and settling in to the White House at the end of the school year, splitting her time between New York and D.C. in the meantime,” Winston Wolkoff told CNN.
“Mrs. Trump is honoured to serve this country and is taking the role and responsibilities of First Lady very seriously. It has only been a short time since the inauguration, and the First Lady is going to go about her role in a pragmatic and thoughtful way that is unique and authentic to her,” she continued.
