It turns out Donald Trump isn’t the only member of the First Family who has yet to finish hiring his White House team.
According to CNN, wife Melania was due to announce her official line-up on Thursday yet couldn’t for one simple reason. She hasn’t had chance to do it yet despite this being Trump’s second week in office.
The new First Lady is reportedly on the hunt for a social secretary, director of communications, press secretary and chief of staff.
Melania has however managed to hire for one role so far. According to The Cut, the First Lady recruited former Vogue staff member and close friend Stephanie Winston Wolkoff as her chief strategist.
The strategic move means we can expect the White House to host some pretty grandeur parties as Winston Wolkoff was once in charge of planning the star-studded Met Gala.
The former Vogue staff member was also part of the two-person team responsible for Donald Trump’s inauguration ball. We wonder if the pair will prep in Melania’s proposed ‘glam room’.
Melania will split her time between New York and the White House until son Barron finishes school. Yet the 46-year-old will require a team however in order to fulfill her responsibilities as FLOTUS.
