Here’s Why People Are Searching For How Many Children Stacey Solomon Has

Recently Stacey Solomon announced on Instagram that she gave birth to a beautiful baby girl. However, since she announced her pregnancy back in June, there was one question many were asking - and it's obviously one they've had for a while. According to Google Trends, ‘Stacey Solomon Harry Swash’ is a breakout search term, as well as ‘How many kids does Stacey Solomon have?’ and ‘Joe Swash children Harry’.

It appears Stacey’s caption on her picture might have caused some confusion, as the singer turned influencer mentioned four children’s names in her caption but pictured only three.‘We are growing another pickle,’ she shared. ‘We’ve never felt so grateful... I have no words. We didn’t think we would get the chance. We love you all to the moon and back. Lots of love From Me, Joe, Harry, Zach, Leighton, Rex, and our little pickle.’

Who is Harry Swash?

‘Harry Swash?’ the people wondered, only seeing Zach, Leighton and Rex pictured next to four handprints on their adorable garden bench. Of course, die-hard fans of Stacey will know that Harry is actually Joe’s son from a previous relationship with Emma Sophocleous.

He’s rarely pictured on Stacey’s Instagram compared to Zach, Leighton and Rex, but there’s a very important reason for that. In 2019, Stacey opened up about why Harry Swash is often missing from her family portraits online, including their Christmas card that year.

‘I got loads and loads of comments, and I get these comments quite a lot, asking about all of our children in my photos’ she said on her Instagram Stories at the time. ‘Unfortunately it’s not something I’m able to do, otherwise I’d do it all the time.

‘All the kids are a massive part of our lives, obviously, and we love them all equally and adore them and, behind the scenes, they’re very much on every stocking, in every book, in every photo,’ she continued. ‘But publicly that’s not something that I can do and I totally respect that. We respect everyone’s wishes, we’re a blended family and sometimes that’s a bit more complicated than it seems. I don’t know if that’s the best way to explain it!’

Ultimately, it appears that Stacey and Joe keep 13-year-old Harry off social media in the most part out of respect for his or his mother’s wishes. It’s no wonder then that fans were confused by his name appearing in the pregnancy announcement, but alas there’s an easy explanation for it after all.

So, now that that’s all cleared up, shall we go back to congratulating Stacey on growing her family once again? That’s a whole lot of pregnancy and new-born content we can’t wait to see…
