A woman in the US got in a car crash last weekend while she was dressed up for Halloween and terrified first responders because of the momentous amount of fake blood in her costume.
Sidney Wolfe, a West Virginia college student, tweeted about the incident this week, sharing pictures of her totalled car and gory Halloween makeup. ‘If anyone wants to know how my weekend went, I totalled my car while dressed up as Carrie and everyone who was a first responder thought I was dead HAHAHAHA IM SO SORRY,’ she shared – seemingly unfazed by the accident itself.
Pictures from her evening out show her wearing a white dress and tiara covered in a gallon of fake blood. According to her Twitter, Wolfe was promoting Carrie the Musical at a haunted house on the night of the accident. Luckily she was unharmed with ‘only a slight bruise’ on her leg.
‘ At the end of the night, I was too tired to shower and remove my makeup so when I wrecked the first responders saw my blood and freaked,’ she explained. The accident occurred when she was driving home and a deer ran out in front of her car causing her to swerve.
‘Waiting for my parents to come pick me up from the scene, two more policemen showed up,’ she added. ‘By this time, I was out of the vehicle and making conversation with the people. The new officer says, “I hate to interrupt but don’t you guys think she needs medical assistance.”’
Laughing off the incident, Wolfe tagged Carrie author Stephen King in a tweet asking him if he had saw her story and if she made him proud.
‘I risked my life to promote this musical. Y’all better buy tickets!!!!!’ she concluded.
The story quickly went viral, garnering near 400,000 likes – something Wolfe is using to her advantage adding a new tweet with her Venmo details and the caption ‘donate to the car fund. Anything helps. Never thought this would blow up.’
Honestly at this point, we’ll be donating for services rendered to spooky season.
