By now, you’re probably already well-versed in the interiors trends that have defined 2018 (the continuing popularity of rose gold, terrazzo tiling and an obsession with mid-century vintage furniture, to name just a handful), but what will be on the cards for next year? And will millennial pink be quite so ubiquitous this time in 2019? 1. Mixing metals

'Rose gold is out and in its place has come a passion for mixing metals, such as brass, gold and copper, giving a warm feel to metal in the home,' explains Cindy Fuller, founder of Designs Direct. 'It looks great with rough timber or brick.'
