While I started the year on a 'shopping ban' things quickly changed when I innocently walked into Uniqlo last month, and laid eyes on the Uniqlo Flared Leggings. I've always had a somewhat love-hate relationship with leggings, and though I'd completely sworn off the idea of wearing them to anything other than my weekly (attempt at) reformer pilates - Uniqlo's leggings changed the game.
First of all, flared leggings are the life hack I never knew I needed. They make the perfect foundation for your get-up-and-go outfit, and while - yes - they are still leggings, the subtle flare at the bottom changes everything. So, when I saw that Uniqlo had released its very own pair, I knew I had to try them.

As soon as I tried them on, I wished I'd bought five more. The leggings slipped on with ease, and I had to look down to confirm I was actually wearing trousers because they're that comfortable. The ultra-stretch fabric meant that it felt like I was wearing pyjamas, but the sculpting effect of the leggings was what really impressed me. The leggings hugged me in all the right places, and gave me a perky lift that I was not expecting. And, the AIRism' fabric with cool to the touch and dry technology allows me to feel fresh during and post-workout, which is always a plus.
At under £25, the leggings are a bargain, and I've already recommended them to anyone who would listen. Shop while you still can.
