When it comes to taking style tips from celebrities, who better to look to than the royals, champions of British design, and timeless in their approach to fashion? Whether we're picking up tips from Meghan Markle on what to wear to Wimbledon, searching for Kate Middleton's every day hoop earrings, or taking notes on classic Diana looks, we can't get enough. And there is also something to be said for celebrating the sartorial choices of the next generation of Windsors.
Okay, Prince George might not quite be styling himself (although we wish that was true) but still. And often when we see the immaculately turned out and colour co-ordinated mini royals, they are in the one of the family's go-to childrenswear brands of choice, Olivier London.

Olivier London, Kitty Dress Joanna Louise, £41.40
Statement sleeves are a key trend for both adults and kids, and the vintage Liberty print is based on an archive impression sheet from the 1940s. Thistle, pinks, roses and of course, busy lizzies, seem appropriate for Queen Elizabeth's adventurous young granddaughter.

Olivier London Clementine Pinafore Dress, £34.50
For a dress that checks every box , channel Princess Charlotte in a patterned dress. A key style for Olivier, the pinafore is reimagined for this season in new organic linens and Liberty print fabrics. These fully lined dresses team perfectly with shirts or even with a pom pom jumper underneath for extra comfort. Pair with tights or long socks for a more trans-seasonal look.
Opened in 2011 by Emma Davidson, the brand began with one hand-knitted cardigan. Now, 10 years and 20,000 pieces later (including one worn by Princess Charlotte) the hand-knitted Rose cardigan is as popular today as it was back then. The girls' cardigan was joined by a boys' version – the Olivier - and it too became a sell-out when worn by Prince George (and later as a ‘hand-me-down’ to Prince Louis). Hand-knitted in pure cashmere, the classic cardigans, and now full range of baby and kids tops, bottoms, dresses and accessories, are the ideal sustainable clothing options for your little ones.
Now, in celebration of the Olivier's 10th anniversary there is a new collection of clothing and accessories. Plus, for the first time ever, the swimwear offering is made from recycled nylon created out of discarded fisherman’s nets.
'For our 10th birthday, we have created a special capsule range and brought back ten vintage pieces all with original details but updated with new fabrications. We also had to bring back our boys' Olivier cardigan with its star motif that everyone loves,' says founder Davidson.
'We have worked with Liberty London to introduce three exclusive new versions of our vintage Betsy print which Liberty originally launched in 1933. We also had to have the Rose stitch cardigan and its matching Rose stitch cashmere blanket in gorgeous new colours.' As ever, a forever attitude is at the heart of the collection: 'We believe in timeless style and slow fashion. Clothes that are made well and made to last rather than being thrown away. Lived in, loved and passed on.'
