Now that spring has truly sprung - complete with the kind of damp and balmy weather that confuses even the most capable morning outfit co-ordinators - it's time to get into the warm-weather mindset.
Over at PINKO, that means a brand new collection of bodycon-style slips, corsets, shirting and cycling shorts, available from May 12, all of which is made with sustainable principles in mind.
For the fourth edition of REIMAGINE, the brand's sustainable series, Patrick McDowell has delivered a mindful yet moody collection that's made from organic and low-impact cotton, as well as recycled fibres from old fishing nets which were used to make Lycra.
Y2K fans will appreciate the sheer mesh blouses styled with baggy tuxedo trousers; the ruched jerseys T-shirts; the panelled corsets styled with elbow-length gloves and the square-necked slips.
McDowell describes his fourth collection for PINKO, a collaboration with the house's creative director Caterina Negra, as a more amplified take on his signatures as a designer: 'A new, somehow sexier, version of my designer handwriting, combining my signature volume and sporty feel with a much more sensual edge.'
