Almost every spring, we find ourselves dressing in a different shade of Cadbury's Mini Eggs, and this year, butter yellow is the chosen one. Spotted everywhere from Givenchy and Toteme to Chanel in its spring/summer 2025 runway, butter yellow marks a departure from the neutral tones that have dominated past spring/summer collections, and feels slightly more optimistic as we (fingers crossed) head into warmer months.
As it usually does, the high street followed suit and started integrating the delectable colour into its collections too. H&M has just released an entire spring collection comprising of butter yellow smock dresses, maxi skirts and linen shirts, meanwhile M&S' collarless jacket in the same hue has already sold out a few times over. In my opinion, there's one piece that has truly cemented butter yellow as this season's most coveted - the Nobody's Child Tailored Blazer. Cut in a single-breasted shape, with sharp lapels and a cinched waist that makes the blazer feel less boxy and more feminine, this blazer rivals M&S' sell-out jacket in both style and wearability.

If you want to inject some colour into your wardrobe this spring, this Nobody's Child blazer is the answer. With its three covered buttons, single breasted design and cinched fitted waist, you don't have to worry about it looking boxy or unflattering as the cinch means it still maintains shape. Pair with the matching wide-leg trousers and chunky sandals or heels.

To go alongside the blazer is a pair of wide-leg trousers that are equally as bright (and chic). Wear on its own with a button-down shirt, or with the blazer, these trousers feature front and back zip pockets, soft pleats and a wide cut.
The great thing about this sunshine co-ord from Nobody's Child is that each piece can be worn on its own too. Together, they create a polished full-yellow look that feels expensive - just add a pair of mules to finish. Alternatively, as separates, throw the blazer over a simple slip dress or wear the trousers with a slouchy graphic tee and trainers.
If there's one takeaway from this season's butter yellow takeover, it's that the shade is far more wearable than its sunny disposition suggests. Nobody's Child has truly mastered excellent tailoring, proving that a soft pastel can still make a powerful statement without setting you back hundreds. If you've been debating whether to get on board with the Lurpak-inspired renaissance, consider this your sign - it's dopamine dressing at its very best.

As well as the wide-leg trousers, there's are also shorts available if you prefer something a little more easy, breezy. The shorts are finished with side pockets, belt loops and a flattering mid-thigh fit.
