This £45 Polka Dot M&S Dress Looks Just Like The Sold-Out Rixo Style We’ve Loved For Months

When it comes to Rixo, you can't deny the traction the brand possesses. Its best-selling dresses are influencer favourites, worn by not only Instagram's best-dressed but also A-Listers, including Kate Middleton – who has worn the brand's Izzy Polka Dot dress, £245 – and Margot Robbie, who has been spotted wearing the Eleanor Halterneck Midi, £280. So, when we spotted a polka dot dress at M&S that paid homage to Rixo's Iggy midi dress, £265, it was no surprise that we discovered it had already started selling out.

The M&S Polka Dot Midaxi Tea Dress, £45, looks like it could have been cut from the same cloth of Rixo's best-selling Iggy midi dress. Boasting a similar polka dot design, with a sheer trim border and a flattering V neckline, there's a few differences – most notably the puffed sleeves and midaxi length. Considering the difference in price (£225, to be exact), however, this is a stylish and affordable alternative to the original dress.

Along with leopard print, polka dot has proven itself popular this summer, with plenty of celebrities wearing the classic pattern in a multitude of ways, from Jessica Alba in a deep V neck maxi dress, to Katy Perry and her retro polka dotted necktie at Wimbledon.
