They're something most of us wear almost every day, especially at the moment, and yet jeans can have a hugely negative impact on the environment because of the way they're manufactured. What's good is that we're seeing a lot of efforts towards making denim more mindfully. Lee x H&M's sustainable denim collection launched last week, and today sees the unveiling of another water-saving capsule, this time from Mango.
With its new eco-wash, Mango's collection has managed to reduce the amount of water that would have been consumed by 30 million litres, while some styles also include 20% recycled denim from the brand's project, Second Chances, which recycles garments that customers have donated in stores.
The collection features everything from the looser kind of cuts all the cool girls are wearing now - the wide-leg, the high-waist straight leg, the ankle-length cropped leg - as well as belted jumpsuits, gilets, panelled denim jackets, puff-sleeved shirts and a contrast skirt that will reinvigorate your love for true blues if it's been on the wane since workout leggings took prescience in your working from home wardrobe.
