As Millie Is Crowned The Winner Of Love Island, Here’s Why Everyone Is Obsessed With Her Outfits

She's a big fan of wear-forever trends.

With her star sign necklace and great co-ord game, Millie Court has been the stand-out fashion star of Love Island (and just last night was crowned its winner). And while many of her outfits come from the show's sponsor, the fast fashion giant ISAWITFIRST, it is possible to channel her look without resorting to clothes that compromise on sustainable credentials.

That's because a lot of the trends she wears - puff-sleeved dresses, for example - are evergreen garments that come back every summer instead of being flash-in-the-pan.

Baukjen's Evangeline Dress has the same square neckline and small puffed sleeves, but is ethically made from natural fibres (100% cotton) in Europe. Court is also partial to hot colours combined with strappy silhouettes. If you're the same way inclined, Omnes' Florence Cami Slip Dress, made out of 100% recycled polyester, is just the ticket for warm summer evenings.

She's also the master of co-ords. For a sustainable pair that will go the distance this summer and next, Arkitaip is your one-stop-shop. Made from 100% linen in Portugal, its bow-tied bra top and ruffled wrap skirt tick the 'flirty' and 'wear-forever' boxes.

And for triangle bikinis, Court's favourite style, Cooke & Kin has a string style made for small coverage that uses mindful materials to ensure its swimwear will last far beyond the last episode of Love Island. The finishing touch? Plenty of gold accessories from sustainable jewellers such as BAR, who has handmade braided hoop earrings, and Loveness Lee, who makes chain necklaces that are made from recycled silver and are perfect for layering.
