At last night's Royal Variety Performance, Kate Middleton ticked all the boxes: sequins, sustainability and something from the high street.
As she arrived outside the Royal Albert Hall, the crowd must have gone wild as she emerged wearing an emerald green gown. The form-fitting dress, from her favourite red carpet designer Jenny Packham, was a rewear from 2019. The Duchess packed it for the royal couple's tour of Pakistan - and, minus a beaded scarf that draped over her left shoulder, it looked every bit as regal for last night's performance.
But as well as digging out some 'oldie but goodie' sequins, Middleton served up another crowd-pleaser: earrings that are not only affordable but actually still available. The fan-shaped hoops are from Missoma - a favourite of sister-in-law Meghan Markle - and could be yours for the princely sum of £125. This isn't actually their first outing; the last time she wore them was in Pakistan, pairing them with a leather waistcoat and riding boots for an outdoors event.

The only other news from last night is that instead of her usual blow-dry, she seems to have embraced a hair curler, giving us mermaid-esque waves that matched perfectly with scaly effect of those marine-coloured sequins. What can we say? We've fallen for her new look (hook, line and sinker).
