The Duchess of Cambridge never fails to inspire others to shop. Whatever she wears still sells out, often within minutes. This is good news for the brands she regularly sports but less so for those looking to recreate her looks. What good fortune, then, that Kate's latest outfit (or part of it at least) is available in the Black Friday sale.
Yesterday, the Duchess visited a North London school, where she joined a science lesson for year 8 pupils about neuroscience and the importance of early childhood development. For the visit, she wore a fuchsia roll neck jumper and a smart tailored coat in the same hue.
While she is known for supporting designers like Sarah Burton at Alexander McQueen, Jenny Packham, Erdem and Emilia Wickstead, this particular combo comes courtesy of the British high street. Both coat and jumper are from Hobbs and, in even better news, they're currently in the brand's Black Friday sale.
Hobbs currently has 25% off both of these items, meaning you can get your own investment pieces for less. And investments they certainly are, for they'll prove indispensable to your wardrobe – both go with pretty much everything and are also an easy way of injecting colour into every day outfits.
The Kate Effect, as it's known, is still going strong, so these pieces won't be available for long.
