It’s fair to say we have a soft spot for quite a few high street stores - Zara, M&S, Topshop, the list could go on and on - but good old reliable French Connection is the one that’s got us giddy this week.
After a long hot summer, winter is here and with it, we’ve realized how old and bobbly our sweaters are and how exhausted last year’s teddy coat looks. And, don’t even get us started on the state of our party dresses (is that a red wine stain? Dear God, I hope so). French Connection to the rescue.
We’re pining after their knitwear in particular. Their patchwork sweaters channels Ralph Lauren and Joseph, but at a less eye-watering price. Naturally. Meanwhile, the velvet trousers and aviator jacket is appealing to our hygge mindset where only cosy clothes are allowed past our front door. As for that silver sequined dress, well we now know what we’re wearing for New Year's Eve, thank you for very much.
