Top of the pile is, of course, It Ends With Us, the emotional tale following characters Lily Bloom, Ryle Kincaid and Atlas which gripped the nation and is now - finally - coming to the big screen. Blake Lively is, for all intents and purposes, that girl. When promoting her films the actor is known for method dressing, and thus far, her It Ends With Us tourdrobe is no different. We've seen Lively embrace Lily Bloom, whose occupation is that of a florist, in a very literal sense, pulling petal-clad dresses from Alice + Olivia, Christopher John Rogers, Elie Saab, and - most recently - an archival beaded floral gown by Versace which was first worn by Britney Spears in the 00's.

Despite Lively's ability to consistently serve great looks on and off the red carpet, the initial It Ends With Us set photos were met with a sprinkle of controversy thanks to the slightly unexpected costume choices, with Twitter comments reading 'this feels like a prank now'. In response to the fashion-shaming, Lively said 'I love Lily’s style so much. I think when you see the film, her style makes sense, because she’s a woman of multitudes. It’s storytelling. To me, fashion and costume design is storytelling.' Costume designer Eric Daman also chimed in on the controversy, to say 'there’s just so much buzz around the looks themselves. When people actually see the context of the clothing and how it’s actually put together in the scenes, and how Blake carries it all as Lily, I think people are gonna be thrilled and very excited'.

Interestingly, Blake Lively also announced that most of the looks for It Ends With Us were pulled from her and husband Ryan Reynold's wardrobe, as well as friend and supermodel Gigi Hadid. 'Those are my real-life boots. A lot of it’s my real-life clothes or my husband’s clothes or my girlfriend Gigi’s clothes'.
