These £27 High Street Sunglasses Are Just As Good As The £285 Designer Style

There's no need to spend a fortune when these shades are around.

While UK weather may not require sunglasses at all times, our outfits do. Because no matter the season, you can guarantee there isn't a single look that can't be elevated by a great pair of shades. Bottega Veneta, Prada and Celine may be some of the best pairs around, but let us tell you, the high street is coming up with some fierce styles that even rival the designers.

Not only this, some high street brands are also teaming up with designers to create more affordable iterations. First we had Missoma and Le Specs, now, COS x Linda Farrow has dropped.

Specialising in eyewear since 1970, COS knew designer Linda Farrow would know how to create sunglasses for all styles and face shapes. Included in the limited-edition collection are oversized '70s pairs, skinny '90s versions and even retro aviators. And at between £99-£135, they won't set you back as much as designer shades.

When it comes to the best of the rest, & Other Stories has an angular cat-eye pair that style insiders, including Jessica Skye, constantly rave about on Instagram. And we're not surprised considering they look so similar to Saint Laurent's £285, but cost just £27.

The high street is really winning when it comes to sunglasses right now, but don't wait until spring has sprung – like swimwear – the best styles will always sell out fast.
