There are certain pieces you spot on Instagram so often, they slowly wear down your willpower until you’re adding them to your basket without a second thought. For me, that’s practically every Damson Madder dress. I spent the entirety of last summer waxing lyrical about Damson Madder's (now sold out) Tish dress, and the better part of spring pining over the denim Goldie dress. My latest obsession? Meet, the Simone Slip Midi Dress.
Founded in 2020, Damson Madder shot to cult status quickly thanks to its conscious approach, punchy use of colour and easily recognisable silhouettes. The brand's designs are somewhere between vintage whimsy and cottagecore, but are still very much of-the-moment - and the Simone dress is no exception. It's a mix of both 2025's favourite colour-way, butter yellow, and dainty fruit detailing that we've seen trending everywhere as of late. Our favourite feature, however, has to be the playful ruffle detailing on the neckline for a touch of whimsicality.

The Simone dress has been dubbed the dress of the season, and has gained a plethora of fans thanks to its cheery yellow colour way and adorable cherry detailing. It's still in stock on the DM website in quite a few sizes, however if yours isn't there, you might be able to shop it on UO.
For a summers day, style with sandals and a raffia tote (Dragon Diffusion bags are expected to be a big trend once again this summer), or dress it up with kitten heels and gold jewellery if you're heading out to dinner. You could even throw on a boxy blazer or oversized denim jacket over the top (I rely on Ganni's denim blazer around 90% of the time) if it's cooler - the dress layers well because of its volume and midi length.
Of course, thanks to their stylish range of minis, midis, and maxis, the Simone Slip isn’t the only dress skyrocketing in popularity. The Rachel Ruffle Midi Dress is another fashion-insider favourite, and more recently an A-lister favourite, having been spotted on Emma Roberts. With its ruffled neckline, dropped waistline, candy-stripe print, and delicate spaghetti straps, it’s further proof that DM is stocking the dresses of the season.

Damson Madder's Rachel dress looks almost vintage-inspired, but have elements that give it that modern feel. The dropped waist and ruffled neckline, for example, add a feminine edge, while the maxi length is incredibly flattering and chic. Style with anything from Adidas trainers to chunky sandals.
So, whether you're opting for the bright cherry-printed Simone dress, or the candy-striped Rachel dress, there's something about the way the brand blends bold prints with easy throw-on designs that makes it special. It's dopamine dressing - but rooted in the kind of wearability that means it'll be on constant outfit rotation - no extra frills needed.

The Becca Midi Dress is yet another ingenious design from the brand, as it doubles as two dresses thanks to its removable puff sleeves. The style is made from a cool 100% organic cotton and features a playful yellow/green/brown stripe called 'tropical print.' All that's left to do is add a pair of sandals and hoop earrings.

Butter yellow is the colour of the season and Damson Madder is embracing it with open arms. Its Iris design features a pleated skirt, side seam pockets and adjustable straps - plus it's drenched in that delectable creamy-yellow shade.

Damson Madder's Mia dress has already sold out once, and it's likely to again. It's an endearing midi that can be worn three ways; either as a bow bandeau, halter or asymmetric style. The dropped waist and shirred bodice also add to the feminine nature of the dress, so to style, juxtapose this with chunky loafers.

Damson Madder's leopard print designs are nothing short of iconic. Its leopard trousers have been in and out of stock more times than I can count on one hand, and it's gilet was seen on almost every single It-girl. Now, the brand's leopard midi dress is on sale, so you can snap up the Persephone dress at 40% off.

If you're leaning into the cottagecore trend this summer, this midi dress, with an oversized collar and tie at the neck might be the dress for you. A bright and bold dress with a pastel striped design, it also features girly details like tuck detailing at the hem, button-down front and copious amounts of ruffles.
