Zayn Malik has given us a sneak peak of his debut shoe collection in collaboration with Italian designer Giuseppe Zanotti.

The line, Guiseppe x Zayn, consists of two boots and two trainers and will be available to shop in late January. The former One Direction-er even paid tribute to his girlfriend Gigi Hadid by naming one of the shoes, 'Zigi'. If that's not couple goals we don't know what is...

The singer said in a statement: "I really believe style comes from taking chances, being bold and not being afraid to express yourself. I feel Giuseppe does that with his collections and I try to do that with my music."

This may be the 23-year-old's first forway into design but it certainly won't be his last, as we patiently wait for his collaboration with Versus Versace to drop in May 2017.

We can't wait to see what else Zayn has in the works for 2017...

Designers have been falling over themselves to dress him since his boyband days, but after his Vogue shoot with model-of-the-moment girlfriend Gigi Hadid and his first Met Gala earlier this year, former One Direction-er Zayn Malik has become a fashion force to be reckoned with.

It’s no surprise, then, that Zayn has decided to make his first foray into design, with a new collaboration with the Italian luxury shoemaker Giuseppe Zanotti, due to be released in 2017.

The singer started dropped (heavy) hints on his Instagram account yesterday, when he posted a black and white image from his recent shoot with GQ magazine. The shot, which sees him posing in the black biker boots that hit just above the ankle, was captioned ‘#GiuseppexZayn Coming 2017.’

In his GQ interview, Zayn reveals that he first met Zanotti at Paris Fashion Week last year and immediately clicked with the designer, leading to a creative partnership further down the line. According to the singer, the two have a similar attitude to creativity.

‘Style is not being afraid to be bold about some things, or to say what it is you have to say,’ he told GQ. ‘I feel like Giuseppe does that with his collection – and I try to do that with my music. So it kind of works.’

The news of Zayn’s fashion collaboration with Zanotti comes hot on the heels of Jennifer Lopez, who announced that she has designed a collection of killer heels with the designer (of course) in July.
