They've done it! Congratulations to Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz who tied to knot in Miami this weekend. And now, the happy couple have revealed the first official wedding photos exclusively to BritishVogue - meaning those of us who didn't score an invite to the big day can finally get a look at this year's most highly anticipated dress.

So, Who Designed Nicola Peltz's Wedding Dress?

The big day dress was a mega dream come true moment: with the honour going to Valentino Haute Couture.

Speaking to CR Fashion Book ahead of the wedding, Peltz confirmed that she was working with the label's creative director, Pierpaolo Piccioli: 'We’ve been to Rome twice, watching everyone in the atelier, they’re just so talented. The first time I went to Rome, I brought my mom and my brother Brad, who’s actually my man of honor, and then Leslie Fremar who’s one of my best friends in the whole world. It is really a beautiful thing to be a part of, and it’s very exciting,' she said.

This wasn't a total surprise to fashion insiders. For last year's Met Gala, Peltz wore a hot pink dress (avecelbow-length opera gloves, which she also wore for her wedding day) from Valentino - and she also sat front row at its show a month later in October 2021.

What Does Nicola Peltz's Wedding Dress Look Like?

In short? Beautiful. Magnificent, yet simple, it was pure Valentino - and perfect for the occasion: the exemplification of modern romance. A minimal '90s-style sleeveless dress gave way to a dramatic train at the back. It was finished with a delicate floor trailing veil, elbow-length lace gloves and platforms.

What Did Brooklyn Beckham Wear?

And for the groom, Dior menswear suiting designed by family friend Kim Jones.

His parents' wedding is one of the most famous celebrity nuptials of all time - and who could forget the fact that he, Brooklyn that is, had a starring role in a purple cowboy hat? - so hopes have been high for the new Mr and Mrs Beckham's big day ever since they announced their engagement in 2020. For the most modern of announcements they posted a picture on Instagram, taken by Harper, that instantly went viral.

What Did The Guests Wear?

Wedding guest dressing can be fraught even for the quietest, most off-radar nuptials. Arguably the hottest ticket of the year, the stakes were very, very high for the Peltz-Beckham big day. A few guests have revealed what they wore on Instagram. Of course, Victoria Beckham designs made an appearance: on Mia Regan and Eva Longoria. VB herself wore a slinky silver slip.

When Did Nicola Peltz And Brooklyn Beckham Get Married?

The couple's wedding took place on April 9, with the star-studded celebrations held at her parents' lavish Palm Beach estate in Miami, Florida. Guests included the complete Beckham clan, Romeo's girlfriend Mia Regan, Eva Longoria, Venus and Serena Williams, Mel C and Mel B (no Geri or Emma though), Rachel Zoe, Gordon and Tana Ramsay.

For their low-key ceremony in Santa Barbara, which was attended by just two witnesses (his father and her maternal grandmother), Kardashian side-stepped a frou-frou frock for something infinitely more fun: a spaghetti-strapped minidress from Dolce & Gabbana. The mini's corset was embellished - rather appropriately - with a heart and she accessorised the look with a demure veil that was attached to a pair of sheer sleeves. Genius.

The wedding of Wallis Simpson and Edward VIII, at Chateau De Cande in 1937, was perhaps the most controversial in Britain's history. As Time reported from the event: 'She wore a dress that most U. S. department stores were soon to feature: soft blue crepe with a tight, buttoned bodice, a halo-shaped hat of the same color, shoes and gloves to match. At her throat was a tremendous diamond-&-sapphire brooch.'

She, and husband Jonathan Singletary got married on their Brooklyn stoop, with 200 friends watching on Zoom, well-wishing neighbours and a small group of socially-distanced friends. While her shoes were custom-made Brother Vellies, her dress, according to Vogue, was something she pulled out of her wardrobe, having not worn it for three years, and her veil was her mother's. 'Since the mantra we set for our stoop wedding was, 'Do the best you can with what you have,' I decided to not overthink my dress,' she told Vogue.
