Meghan Markle has often used her clothes and jewellery to send covert messages, whether they be in relation to sustainability or her love for her family. Today, on her 40th birthday, the Duchessreleased a video starring Melissa McCarthy, revealing a new project called 40x40, which will see her ask 40 women to donate 40 minutes of their time to help mentor a woman who is going back into the workforce after the pandemic. In the video, Meghan wore a necklace that was a sweet tribute to her children.

Dressed casually, Meghan can be seen at home, where she has her laptop perched in front of her for the video call with Melissa. It was her necklace – or rather necklaces – that stood out thanks to their arrangement of diamonds on an elegant gold chain.

And it turns out that each necklace represents her children, Archie and Lilibet. Both pieces of jewellery are from LA-based brand Logan Hollowell and feature the Taurus constellation, representing Archie's zodiac sign, and the Gemini constellation, in honour of Lilibet who was born on June 4 this year.
