Good news for brides-to-be in search of a laidback, boho gown that’ll make a statement in your wedding photos (and on the inevitable Instagram posts). Grace Loves Lace, the Australian bridal label behind Pinterest’s most pinned wedding dress of 2016, is finally launching in the UK with a London based showroom.
Found in Shoreditch, East London, the brand’s first ever European showroom is set to open on April 18th – just in time for wedding season – having previously built up a cult following around the world with outposts on Australia’s Gold Coast and on California’s Venice Beach. Avoiding overly structured or restrictive styles, Grace Loves Lace is known for an effortlessly glamorous aesthetic which showcases the dramatic French lace that is a hallmark of the brand.
The label was founded by Megan Ziems in 2010, after a fruitless search for the perfect wedding dress inspired her to come up with her own designs using exquisite French lace.
Widely reported as the most-pinned wedding dress of last year, the brand’s ‘Hollie’ dress caught the eye of over 2.5 million Pinterest users. Described as a ‘boho beach dress,’ it featured a bodice of delicate lace teamed with spaghetti straps, a low cut back and a lightweight Italian chiffon skirt.
If Grace Love Lace’s Instagram-friendly styles have piqued your interest, we’d recommend getting in touch with the brand ASAP to book an appointment (they’re reportedly being snapped up pretty quickly…) Here’s hoping that a bridesmaid collection follows soon…
