That great shirt you've seen your friend in? It's probably COS. The high street brand has managed to cultivate a quietly stylish aesthetic that veers towards minimalism without ever being boring. It's on-trend without focusing on transient pieces that will look outdated next season – these are clothes to last. For autumn/winter, the brand has had something of a makeover.

For the first time, COS decided to stage a show at London Fashion Week, during a season in which the schedule remained split between physical shows and digital offerings. But why now?

Well, for autumn/winter 2021, COS is taking a slightly new direction. Loyal fans fear not, you will still recognise the brand's easy, luxe take on getting dressed, only now it's even sharper.

The show was held at London's Roundhouse theatre and perfectly showcased this new thoughtful collection, full of very covetable winter coats, floor-skimming silky dresses and slick accessories. The model line-up included Edie Campbell but, for the accompanying campaign, COS tapped a number of stars including Jodie Turner Smith and activist Janaya Future Khan.

With oversized shirts, impeccably tailored trousers, seriously good knits and even a bright blue version of that gathered dress which caused quite the stir at the beginning of summer and promptly sold out, there's everything you could want for your new season wardrobe.

Happily, COS has also adopted the 'see now, buy now' model for AW21, meaning the collection is available to buy right now, fresh from the catwalk.
