Earlier this years fashion fans around the world went into mourning over the news that cult Parisian concept store,Colette would be closing this December. After twenty years in business, ‘the trendiest store in the world’ and Karl Lagerfeld’s favourite shop will be shutting its doors for a final time on December 20th.

Adored for its eclectic mix of high and low as well as its forward thinking designer collaborations, Colette will close in style this Christmas with one final special partnership.

The Parisian boutique have teamed up with Saint Laurent, and the French fashion house will take over the store space with a pop-up shop of Saint Laurent branded pieces, all signed by creative director Anthony Vaccarello himself. Considering Saint Laurent are touted to be taking over the retail space on Rue Saint-Honoure next year, it’s a fitting final collaboration.

Items been given the Saint Laurent treatment include Pierre Marolini chocolates, Patti Smith hoodies, Polaroid cameras and possibly the chicest all-black Vespa we have ever seen. If designer sex toys are what you’re into, you can also pick up a pair of YSL-branded leather paddles.

Fear not if you don’t have plans to hotfoot it to Paris before Christmas, the entire collection can be bought online. Plus, with prices starting at 5 Euros you can snap up a piece of Colette history without breaking the bank.
