It is clear Katie Holmes is using the streets of New York as a personal runway - and we are so here for it. Simple outfits are a clear winner for her, and she is one person that has nailed the art of stylish winter dressing. Think classic trench coats, comfy sweats, and oversized bags.
There’s one formula she’s loving in particular: a silk skirt plus boots, a choice of bottoms that would otherwise be reserved for the warmer months, however not for Holmes. She loves it so much, she's been wearing it out and about at New York Fashion Week. Seen arriving at the Christian Siriano show and the L’AGENCE presentation, Holmes loved her look so much she wore it for both events (often unheard of for celebs, who change their looks for each show). The look in question included a perfect white T-shirt, a sharply tailored blazer and the silky skirt, but the star of the show was undoubtably the Toteme boots.
