Another day, another Love Island scandal rocking the dating show. This time, it’s Will in the spotlight after The Sun got hold of pictures of him holding a bag of white powder at a festival. In the footage, seemingly screenshotted from a video, Will can be seen partying in a swimming pool at Hideout Festival in Croatia. Our lovable farmer dances with friends and appears to put something towards his friend’s mouth.

The question now is whether the substance is illicit and whether Will will stay or go. Witnesses at the festival he was partying at last July haven’t confirmed any law-breaking took place, so the jury’s still out on whether he's on his way out.

It follows the eviction of Haris Namani, who left the villa this week after a video emerged of him punching a man in a street brawl. Speaking to bosses after he left the show he said: ‘I’m devastated that this video has been seen, it’s not a reflection of my character. I’m not someone that goes looking for fights and I didn’t want to be in that situation.

‘This was a heat of the moment thing. The video doesn’t show everything that happened. Afterwards we met up and we cleared the air; we’ve shaken hands and we get along now. It’s not something that would happen again.’

Could we be about to see a similar departure and gushing apology from Will? It would be a cruel twist seeing as he’s only just formed a connection with a girl after nearly two weeks in the villa, spending the last few days getting cosy with Jessie.

Ozzy Jessie caused a stir when she entered the villa with Aaron a few days ago. Love Island alum Paige Thorne told Grazia: ‘It’s a bit of a stretch them bringing in Australian Love Islanders isn’t it? I know that they’ve got a show to do and that Jessie and Aaron brought plenty of drama in their own series of Love Island, but it defeats the whole purpose of the show. None of the contestants are going to want to get into a relationship with someone who lives on the other side of the world and has a massive time difference, no matter how much they may like them.’

If Will sticks around perhaps we’ll see if he’s prepared to put in the required effort for such a long-distance romance.
