Did You Miss Victoria Beckham’s Clue That Nicola Peltz And Brooklyn Were Engaged?

We have to admit, we were all pretty surprised when we found out that Brooklyn Beckham had proposed to his girlfriend Nicola Peltz over the weekend. But Victoria Beckham almost gave away the big news on July 5, with a very crafty Instagram story.

As The Sun notes, Victoria uploaded an Instagram story of the whole family back together at their Cotswolds mansion after Nicola and Brooklyn spent most of lockdown in the US. But in the video, where the Beckhams are clapping for the NHS' 72nd birthday, VB has notably covered Nicola's hand with a big red heart emoji. And to make it less obvious, she then placed a few hearts in the pic.

See what she's done there? Sneaky Victoria, sneaky.

Though thankfully, the news managed to stay under wraps. In an Instagram post on Saturday afternoon, Brooklyn announced the happy news himself, posting a sweet picture of him and Nicola that had been taken by his little sister Harper. 'Two weeks ago I asked my soulmate to marry me and she said yes,' he wrote on Instagram. 'I am the luckiest man in the world. I promise to be the best husband and the best daddy one day ❤️ I love you baby xx'

Victoria{ =nofollow}reposted Brooklyn's picture on her Instagram grid, expressing her happiness. She wrote: 'The MOST exciting news!! We could not be happier that @brooklynbeckham and @nicolaannepeltz are getting married! Wishing you so much love and a lifetime of happiness. We all love you both so much x @davidbeckham @romeobeckham @cruzbeckham #HarperSeven.' David also reposted the image, adding, 'Congratulations to these two beautiful people. As they begin this exciting journey together we are so so happy for you guys @brooklynbeckham @nicolaannepeltz @victoriabeckham.'
