Say it ain’t so! In the twist that no one saw coming, Tasha Ghouri and Andrew Le Page are said to be the latest Love Island couple to split – with some fans saying the Strictly curse has hit again.
Tasha, 26, appeared on the last season of Strictly Come Dancing, making it to the final with her dance partner Aljaz Skorjanec. A familiar face in the audience was her ever-supporting boyfriend, Andrew, 29, (of ‘I licked her tit or whatever’ fame), who was every inch the dream partner as he supported Tasha behind the scenes.
Despite seeming more loved-up than ever over the holidays, spending Christmas together and posting multiple sweet snaps, reports have now surfaced that Tasha and Andrew have called it quits on their two-and-a-half year relationship.
A source told The Sun, ‘Tasha was madly in love with Andrew but the cracks started to show when she appeared on Strictly. She gave her all in that competition. Her focus was purely on her dances with Aljaz and that drove a wedge between them as time went by.’
The rumoured split comes ahead of Tasha’s appearance in the BBC Strictly Live tour, which starts on Friday. The source added, ‘‘Now she’s going off on tour she’s going to be away from Andrew again. They talked about ending their relationship at the start of January and she’s heading out on the Strictly tour as a single woman.’
As news broke, rumours also swirled that Tasha had already hopped back into the world of dating – reportedly being spotted on celebrity dating app Raya. According to screenshots of the alleged account, Tasha describes herself as a ‘Northern girly’ who is ‘always smiling and laughing.’
So far, neither Tasha nor Andrew have addressed the split rumours. The same, however, can’t be said for fans on social media.
One wrote, ‘Tasha and Andrew breaking up is MY Molly Mae and Tommy,’ as another added, ‘Tasha and Andrew please work it out, my heart can’t take this one.’
Echoing the entire world’s reaction, another fan shared, ‘Don’t tell me Tasha and Andrew have split, I will cry. It’s one of those days.’ Someone pass the tissues...
Other viewers were quick to blame the infamous Strictly curse - with one writing, 'Seasons come and go, but the Strictly curse is steadfast.'
Before appearing on Strictly last year, Tasha insisted that she wasn’t worried about the Strictly curse. She said, ‘Andrew, to me, is the hottest man on the whole planet. We trust each other 100 per cent. It’s not a make-or-break for us. We’re going to breeze through this because we’re going to marry each other one day, you know?’
Estate agent Andrew first met the model on Love Island series eight, with Tasha making history as the dating show's first ever deaf contestant. The couple gravitated towards each other, with Tasha picking Andrew over Luca Bish (who is currently making waves in the 2025 All Stars villa). After finishing the series in fourth place, the pair moved in together – buying their first house in February last year, and welcoming their dog, Luna.
