Rose Byrne – aka Helen Harris II – has just been named Hollywood's most profitable actress.
In a survey analysing profits made from movies over the last 20 years, the Australian star – best known for her roles in Bridesmaids and Bad Neighbours – was found by PartyCasino to have made on average a whooping $9.80 return for every $1 spent on her movies.
That Helen, she really is perfect...
Looking at box office data from 1980 to this year, the UK betting site also found that Regina Hall ('Brenda Meeks' from Scary Movies) makes a $3.50 return putting her in second place, and Octavia Spencer (The Help and Hidden Figures) came in third with a return of $2.90.
Sadly there isn't much extended data on the actress category of the survey because 'women, unfortunately, are less likely to be the top-billed actor for a movie', a spokesperson for the site told New York Post.
Now, why doesn't that surprise us? Urgh.
Looking at the male category, there were some very surprising results there. Whilst you might expect actors such as Mark Wahlberg or Dwayne Johnson to have topped the results table – being highest paid actors in 2017 and 2016 'n' all – you would be quite wrong....
Top of the list, bringing in $6.70 per movie for every dollar spent (waaaay below that of the actress category, note) is Emilio Estevez. That's right. The guy best known for roles in 80s Brat Pack movies, The Breakfast Club and St Elmo's Fire, has been more profitable at the box office than even Tom Hanks and Tom Cruise, both of whom top the 'Top Billed Actors Appearances' list.
Wanna know who number two was? Jean-Claude Van Damme – 'The Muscles From Brussels'.

But wait... it gets more so...
Want to know who came bottom of the list? Drum roll please... Brad Pitt. Yep! According to the research, Brad returns just ten cents for every dollar spent on his movies, meaning of all the actors in Hollywood, Brad is the least profitable.
Ouch. Now that really is the pitts...
