Dua Lipa and Romain Gavras sent tongues wagging in February when they were spotted leaving a BAFTAs after-party together.
And after months of remaining tight-lipped about the romance rumours, pop songstress Dua left no doubt in anyone's mind that they were true after the new couple went public with their relationship at Cannes Film Festival over the weekend.
Dua, 27, and Romain, 41, put on a loved-up display as they posed for photographs, and the singer later took to Instagram to show off her 'sweetheart'.
Romain - who hails from Paris and briefly dated fellow pop star Rita Ora back in 2020 - is a film and music video director, with his credits including M.I.A.'s Bad Girls, Kanye West's No Church in the Wild and Jamie xx's Gosh. His third film, Athena, dropped on Netflix last September and was praised for being 'electrifying, hard-hitting viewing'.

According to reports, his career as a director has seen his net worth climb to $5 million (£4 million). Dua is thought to be worth $35 million (£28.2 million), meaning they are unlikely to ever need to count their pennies.
Neither has lifted the lid on their romance, but a source alleged earlier this year that Dua and Romain had been 'quietly getting to know each other for several months' and had 'met each other’s close circles' over the festive period.
Dua's last public relationship was with Anwar Hadid, the brother of models Bella and Gigi, who happen to be close to the Levitating hitmaker.
After two years together, they split in December 2021, but Anwar has sparked concern with some of his recent Instagram posts.
Whilst he didn't disclose who he was referring to, the 23-year-old model shared a selfie captioned, 'Trying to not to find and kill him”. He added the follow-up messages, 'I can’t breathe', 'I hate the way you say my name' and 'have fun'.
As well as debuting her new man, Dua has also headed over to Instagram to tease new music for the upcoming Barbie movie in which she plays a blue-haired mermaid.
