Pete and Sophie might have only been on Gogglebox since 2018, but they've quickly become one of the show's favourite pairs - with the brother and sister now being famous for their witty remarks. But it's no shock Pete and Sophie have ended up on TV, as it turns out they're following in the footsteps of some very famous relatives: the Chuckle Brothers.
Last year, Paul Elliott revealed he was the pair's great uncle, posting a throwback snap with the caption: 'This day 2018 with my great niece and nephew'. He also posted another pic a few months later.
Paul starred with his late brother Barry on children's' TV show Chucklevision from 1987 to 2009. Following Barry's death in 2018, Sophie paid tribute to her great uncle, writing: 'A truly lovely and funny man to be around. You filled millions of childhoods with laughter and entertainment including mine and Peters. You will be sadly missed by many. Rest in peace Uncle Barry. Lots of love from me, to you.'
Pete and Sophie actually have two other siblings, called Harry and Lucy, who you don't see on the show. Like most of the other Gogglebox pairs, Pete and Sophie also have other jobs - Pete reportedly has a job in the insurance industry, while Sophie works as a shop window dresser.
So, as it's their second job, how much time do they spend in front of TV? Gogglebox is filmed over two six-hour shifts a week, meaning the pair work commit to filming 12 hours a week for the show. Monthly, the pair are paid £1,500 - which they have to decide how to split between them.
