OK, so, if you look up whirlwind romance in the dictionary, then we’re pretty sure you’ll see a picture of Miley Cyrus and Cody Simpson. The couple - who have been together for a mere five months - have already been on a wild, PDA fuelled journey, in front of the eternity of the internet. But, not content enough with posting loved-up photos on Instagram, the pair have now inked themselves with matching tattoos.
So, what did they opt for? Little hearts, or something equally as cute? No, Miley and Cody have decided to go for little tridents, inked by Nico Bassil. It might seem quite random, but it’s probably something to do with Cody’s yet-to-be-released poetry book called Prince Neptune. In fact, in Nico’s post, he even subtly told people to go buy the book, which is out on April 7.
After ending things with ex-girlfriend Kaitlynn Carter, Miley was linked to singer Cody - and they have been going from strength to strength. Her divorce with ex-husband Liam Hemsworth was finalised after they split in August last year. Liam has since moved on to model Gabriella Brooks, who he was recently photographed kissing.
