Meghan Markle’s first husband, film producer Trevor Engelson, is reportedly engaged to his girlfriend Tracey Kurland.
How do we know? He posted a picture with Kurland showing off a ring last Friday, with the caption; ‘Luckiest guy I know! Get ready to party!' on his private Instagram account @trevorengelson1, according to the Daily Mail.
LA dietician Tracey Kurland has been dating Engelson since November 2017, which makes this a much quicker engagement for him – he dated Meghan Markle for seven years before they got married.
If you’re expecting to get as much detail about Trevor and Tracey’s wedding as we had about Harry and Meghan’s, you’ll be sorely disappointed, both have private Instagram accounts and nowhere near as big a PR machine as the one the royal family has behind it.
Engelson has been painted as the jealous ex-husband in the media – his plan to create a TV show about a woman who leaves her husband for a prince really hasn’t helped.
The pitch for the show reads: 'Divorce is hard. Sharing custody is harder. Sharing custody with the British Royal family when your wife marries a prince, in the unforgiving spotlight of London’s tabloid media, is next level.' Sound familiar?

People have also been quick to point out the timing of this announcement, just weeks after the royal wedding – is this a smart PR move or just a couple in love?
Engleson wouldn’t be the first person in Markle’s life to try and steal her limelight – her sister Samantha Grant has written a critical tell-all book about Meghan’s upbringing, her brother wrote a letter to Prince Harry begging him to call off the wedding, and her father Thomas Markle staged a series of paparazzi pictures in a bid to get some sympathy from the press. Thank God for Doria, eh?
