There are blogs dedicated to documenting every outfit she wears, details of who she’s wearing appear within seconds of her being seen in public, and brands vying to be the next sell-out label she wears.
With all this documentation of her style, it’s pretty obvious when Meghan starts wearing more of one thing or less of another. Her messy bun for example has become, a staple, everyone knows about her favourite shoe designer Sarah Flint, and now she’s been wearing a whole lot of blue.
On a trip to the theatre to see Hamilton with Prince Harry, Meghan wore a royal blue Jason Wu dress with matching Aquazzura shoes – another firm favourite for Meghan.
Here are some potential sources of inspiration for Meghan’s blue streak.
Could it be that she's taking style tips from sister-in-law Kate Middleton? In one of the times the pair had been seen publicly together. Kate wore a dress by Seraphine at the First Annual Royal Foundation Forum in London.
Perhaps The Queen is the source of Meghan's penchant for blue? Here she is wearing a similar shade during Donald Trump's visit to the UK in July this year.
Or is she looking further back to Princess Diana? She wore bright blue on her engagement day in February 1981.
And a richer shade during a visit to the Royal Doulton Factory in 1984.
Or is this just peak referential dressing? Royal blue for a newly minted royal.
