There could be a hot new couple on the block, after Shailene Woodley and Lucas Bravo were seen looking very cosy while in Paris. The Big Little Lies star, 33, and the Emily In Paris hunk, 36, fuelled rumours that they are dating after they were spotted looking comfortable and affectionate with each other as they held hands, hugged and explored the French capital with their arms around each other. At one point, Shailene kept her hands inside his sheepskin jacket.
‘Already loving this couple,’ one fan said, with another adding, ‘I’m here for it!’
The potential new romance comes three years after Shailene split from fiance American football star Aaron Rodgers in February 2022, after two years together. ‘I haven’t shared much about my relationship with Aaron because it always makes me cry. It was not right. But it was beautiful,’ she said about their relationship, adding that the split was the ‘darkest, hardest time’ of her life. ‘I felt like I lost my soul, my self, my happiness, my joy,’ she added.
‘I fell in love over and over with unavailability. I’m very open as a human. I love easy and I care easy, but I do not love lightly, and I do not care lightly,’ she said. ‘I give all of myself.’
Shailene also dated rugby player Ben Volavola, who she dated from 2017 until 2020, and has been linked to musician Nahko Bear and Roberta Colindrez, her Cult of Love co-star.

Lucas is a French actor, who’s best known for playing Emily’s love interest and downstairs neighbour Chef Gabriel in Emily In Paris. The son of retired footballer Daniel and singer Eva has also appeared in a number of films: comedy-drama Mrs Harris Goes To Paris and rom-coms Ticket To Paradise and The Honeymoon. While his on-screen alter-ego, talented chef Gabriel, is quite the ladies’ man and has a complicated romantic history, IRL Lucas is more private about his love life. In 2024, the French actor revealed that he recently ended a three-year relationship with an unnamed actor, citing different schedules and work pressures amongst the contributing factors.
‘You’re in different countries, and then you have 24 hours to reconnect. It’s so much pressure to be the best version of yourself. Every gesture is over-interpreted. To stay sane in the industry you need to turn it off, which isn’t easy when you’re with someone else in the industry,’ he said.

‘Sometimes, you just run into someone, you look at this person in the eyes, and in an instant, in a second, so much is said… Just feeling safe and feeling like there’s an old soul in front of me, and we’ve always known each other [like] in a past life or something… it’s something you cannot see, and that’s mostly what I’m looking for.’
