Love Island: We Firmly Believe That Belle Hassan’s Dad Tamer Is This Year’s Danny Dyer

Arguably, the star of last year’s Love Island wasn’t champion Dani Dyer, but her dad of the same name, acting legend Danny. In the family episode of last year’s show, the EastEnders hardman appeared via FaceTime with his wife Jo, joking that he was going to kill then-boyfriend Jack Fincham - before then telling him that, actually, he thought Jack was a 'proper geezer' (who wasn't 'abb'ed up') and that he was willing to sign some stuff for him.

But, this year, the show has another famous dad - who definitely won’t take any messing. It turns out Belle Hassan’s dad is Football Factory/Game of Thrones star Tamer Hassan - which is probably something Anton should have remembered before he handed his number out to a shop assistant, kissed Anna instead of Belle - and then just generally acted like an immature and irresponsible #lad.

Obviously, Tamer isn’t having any of it. In a quite frankly iconic quote, Tamer told The Sun Online, ‘If Anton gives his number out anymore, the only number he will need is 999 emergency services.’ And after seeing Anton get excited over Francesca, he also told the website that he has chopper on standby ‘to do a Rambo’. (‘Mate, I will come for you with a parachute and take you out if you do one single thing to upset Belle.’)

We are just hoping and praying that Belle stays in until the end, so Tamer can get his time to shine on Love Island.
