Love Is Blind's Amber Pike has opened up about the dating show where she met her husband - and it turns out she is not a fan.
If you're a longtime viewer of Netflix's Love Is Blind, then you may remember Season One's Amber. Having married Matt Barnett at the end of the season, the pair are still together now.
But despite them having the show to thank for their relationship the pair aren't the biggest fans. Amber recently responded to fans on Instagram - and she didn't hold back when it came to the dating show. When asked who her favourite couple from the most recent season was, Amber apparently replied 'We don't watch LIB.'
And when the fan replied, 'Oh wow, kinda surprised since that's where you found the love of your life,' Amber fired back '[Matt and I] are together IN SPITE of that show, not because of it.'
Hinting at some off-camera drama, Amber explained that she told the show's creators to 'stay away from us' when questioned whether she had 'argued' with them.
It's not the first time the show has come under fire. After their failed live reunion and questions of toxic male behaviour, former contestants have come forward to critique their time on the dating show. Several contestants from Season Two have spoken out about on-set mistreatment, with Danielle Ruhl alleging she fainted in the pods due to insufficient access to food, water, and sleep.
Responding to the claims, Love Is Blind's production company Kinetic Content said 'The wellbeing of our participants is of paramount importance to Kinetic. We have rigorous protocols in place to care for each person before, during, and after filming.'
