Congratulations are in order for Spectre star Léa Seydoux, who is pregnant with her first child.
Attending the premiere of her latest film It’s Only The End Of The World at the Toronto International Film Festival, the former Bond Girl cradled her baby bump while smiling widely for the cameras. And from the photographic evidence, we’d say that the pregnancy ‘glow’ is certainly not just an urban myth.
Wearing a simple navy and black fitted dress, Léa was joined on the red carpet by her co-stars Gaspard Ulliel, Xavier Dolan and Nancy Grant.
The 31-year-old actress is in a relationship with Andre Meyer. While Léa tends to remain tight-lipped about her personal life, in an interview with ES magazine in 2014, she revealed that she was ‘very happy.’
‘He’s not an actor, he’s not famous at all. He writes sometimes. He’s good at philosophy. We met some time ago but neither of us was free,’ she said.
The Paris-based star added that her views on marriage have changed since being in a long-term relationship. ‘I never believed in marriage, but now I’m in love, I think maybe,’ she revealed. ‘We still need to believe in things – we need discipline. I don’t believe in the religious side, but as a civil act – yes.’
In a more recent interview with MARFA Journal, Léa explained that she has been reflecting on motherhood, and the impact it might have upon her career. ‘I think it gives you an interesting edge,’ she said. ‘Several amazing actresses have become mothers recently and I do think that it adds something to how they play. Becoming a mother opens doors.’
