Kendall Jenner has just revealed the meaning behind her blink-and-you’ll-miss-'em inkings.

Writing on her website and app, the model explained her love of tattoos, and shared why she opted to go against her sister Kim's advice and get inked last year.

'Even though Kim always says "Don't put a bumper sticker on a Bentley,' I really like tattoos,' she wrote. The model, who has two tiny hearts in white ink on her middle figures, also opened up about the significance of the designs. 'The one on my right hand is a full heart to represent an angel and my left is a broken heart - kind of like the devil side,' she wrote.

The broken heart design matches up with her close pal Hailey Baldwin's finger tattoo, although, as Kendall explains, 'hers is red.' The duo headed to the tattoo parlour last summer, and documented their escapade on Snapchat, despite the fact that Kendall had previously spoken out against tattoos, telling Allure magazine that 'I have a really weird thing about "forever".'

It seems that the model has had a total change of heart since then, revealing on her site that she 'definitely' plans on adding to her inkings 'eventually' - although she's not quite sure what her next addition will be. 'I just don't know what I would get right now,' she wrote, 'I don't have anything in mind. You'll just have to wait and see.'

In the meantime, we're seriously contemplating following Kendall's example and getting a tiny tattoo of our very own.
